Flow, a layer-1 permissionless blockchain, came in second with 119.57 events, while Metaplex, an NFT platform on Solana, ranked third with 19.13 events. Santiment emphasizes that the methodology used for tracking GitHub events excludes routine updates, providing a more accurate representation of development activity.

Santiment highlights that substantial development activity within a crypto project signifies developer confidence in the protocol and reduces the likelihood of exit scams. This data serves as an indicator of the project’s credibility and ongoing progress.
