The partnership’s initial phase concentrates on tokenizing housing projects to combat Uganda’s housing issues, ensuring affordability and quality for its citizens. With plans to tokenize over 60,000 military homes valued at $2 billion, the initiative aims to democratize asset ownership and promote financial inclusion through fractional real estate investments.
Extension to Key Sectors and Blockchain Regulation
Expanding beyond housing, the collaboration looks to tokenize Uganda’s coffee industry by 2025, embracing blockchain innovation to attract investments and bolster the country’s economic foundation. Efforts are also underway to establish robust blockchain regulations to foster transparency and innovation, utilizing Lemon Group’s cutting-edge technology for asset management and economic transformation.
