Details of the Data Breach
The cybercriminals behind Stormous claimed on various platforms to have breached Fractal ID’s systems, including its KYC database, containing personal information of more than 300,000 users. The stolen data reportedly includes personal photos, bank statements, proof of address, and cryptocurrency wallet addresses.
Response from Fractal ID
If confirmed, this would be the second security incident that Fractal ID has faced this year. The company acknowledged a previous breach in July affecting a smaller number of customers. Fractal ID has engaged cyber security experts to investigate the latest breach.

Fractal ID reported a breach in July where unauthorized access was gained using compromised operator credentials. The company has been working with cyber security firm Resonance to strengthen its security measures post-incident.
